We believe raising a great family dog starts LONG before your puppy comes home!
From the time our puppies are just days old, we begin intentionally introducing them to new experiences, sounds, textures, handling, people, and age-appropriate challenges. Using Puppy Culture along with lots of hands-on interaction right inside our home, our goal is to help each puppy build confidence, resilience, and the skills they’ll need for life outside our puppy room.
We can’t hand you a perfectly trained eight-week-old puppy…but we CAN give you one with an incredible foundation.

HAT IS PUPPY CULTURE?
Puppy Culture is a puppy development and socialization program designed around the critical first weeks of a puppy’s life. Through age-appropriate exercises and experiences, we help our puppies learn how to handle new things, work through little challenges, interact with the world around them, and build confidence along the way.
And honestly, that’s where the GOOD stuff starts.

HAT DO OUR PUPPIES LEARN?
We pack a LOT into eight short weeks, while always keeping things age appropriate and FUN.
During their time with us, our puppies are introduced to:
• Early neurological stimulation
• Age-appropriate socialization
• New sounds, surfaces, textures and environments
• Confidence and emotional resilience exercises
• Weaning and independent eating
• Potty box training
• Crate training
• Leash introduction
• Sitting, waiting and other early manners
• Appropriate play and bite inhibition
• Lots and LOTS of real-life experiences
These first eight weeks are all about building a strong foundation. We give them the tools, confidence, and early skills they need, and then YOU get to take it from there and keep building.

E HAVE A PUPPY TRAINER TOO!
Starting around 4 weeks, our trainers begin working alongside us with each litter. As the puppies get older, that training becomes more frequent and includes crate work, leash skills, sitting, waiting, confidence building, and anything an individual puppy may need a little extra help with.
Then, around seven weeks, every puppy completes professional temperament testing.
By this point, we’ve spent weeks watching their personalities unfold, but temperament testing gives us one more incredibly valuable piece of information. Our trainers, my husband and I then sit down together and go through EVERY puppy and EVERY family to help determine where we believe the best matches are.
Because at the end of the day, we aren’t just preparing puppies for families.
We’re preparing them for LIFE.
